(Vender Featured in video Blog: Allen’s Tux )

Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a great year and everything is going well! As a former bride I was always so lost at what I needed to do and what realistically everything cost! I feel like Planning a wedding is like the first day of work… that never ends. No matter how much research and training we have we still have no idea what’s going on or how its all going to work… the only thing we know is why we are there and what we are planning! This blog series is for you! I am going to walk you through planning a wedding and hopefully take some stress of your shoulders!! I am not in anyway a wedding planner; I am a Wedding Photographer and a former bride dedicated to taking care of my clients!

What is it about when men wear tuxes that make them look like a million bucks!! Weather you are having a high end wedding that has an unlimited budget or a budget wedding when you put that man in a tux everyone will think your wedding was high end wedding!

Renting Vs. Buying

According to WeddingStats.org, the average cost to rent a tux is $196. However, some designer tuxes can cost between $400 and $500 to rent. Most tuxedo rental packages include the coat, pants, shirt, vest, neckwear, shoes and stud and cufflink set. If your going to wear the tux once, defiantly rent!

However If you'll wear the tuxedo more than three times in the next few years, buy it. Since the price to buy a tuxedo can be around $1,000 and tuxedo rentals run approximately $196 each, you'll get more for your money when you buy.

Every groom deserves to look his best on his wedding day, – whether that’s in khakis and a white linen button down for beachside vows or the ultimate in black tie wedding attire, this is your day too!!

The illustrated guide below may be for how to draw suits, but I like it for its handy breakdown of the different type of wedding suits, what they imply, and what will flatter your body best.

Once you’ve chosen the perfect wedding attire, you get to pick out a seriously stylish pair of shoes, cufflinks, and hopefully a luxury watch wedding gift from your bride.

Now that you’ve chosen the tux style its time for alterations! Tux’s and suits need to be fitted to your body! If they aren’t it will look OFF… and everyone will keep looking at you… and not in a good way! Below are average prices! (Please keep in mind these are average and not concrete, do not hold your tailor to these prices! Every store is different and has different rates!)

I hope this blog posted helped you plan what suit you or your man needs to be in!

Til next time!

I really hope something here as helped you plan or better budget for you wedding! I am so excited see how beautiful it all turns out!!

Cheers,

Hannah Judd
